Activities

We play, talk, create and discover the world. Through different activities, children build language skills, learn to cooperate and develop their creativity.

What children learn

From first words to things they make themselves. Everyday activities give children practice in thinking, talking and doing things independently.

Discovery and language

Cooperation and confidence

Helps children feel safe and confident, enjoy learning and work together.

The world around us

We learn about where we live, national symbols, and how everyday objects are used.

Exploring nature

We observe and care for plants and animals, recognise trees and birds, and protect the environment.

Language and stories

We read stories, recite poems, sing folk songs and play language games. We also practise speech sounds.

Numbers and shapes

We add and subtract, explore colours, shapes, parts of the day and seasons.

Creativity and art

Drawing

We draw with pencils, paints and markers, using our fingers, brushes and natural materials.

Modelling

We explore materials, roll and shape, connect forms, and keep our workspace tidy.

Collage and gluing

We practise holding a brush, applying glue, arranging shapes, tearing paper and cutting with scissors.

Construction

We build with different materials and develop spatial thinking and creativity.

Practical skills

Everyday skills

We weave and braid, set the table, explore ingredients, roll dough and bake cookies.

English through play

Children learn English through songs, movement, games and stories. Music helps them hear and recognise sounds, while movement helps them remember and understand new things.
